It is important to know the Sri Lanka Computer Crimes Act

One of the things we as computer users in Sri Lanka need to know is the Computer Crimes Act. The government has recently decided to strictly enforce this law. This is due to the fact that the security forces receive a large number of complaints about the misuse of computers. Measures have been taken to prevent the theft of personal data such as using the internet and committing acts of malpractice through this Act.

Also, it is not the police who are investigating these matters. Those who have special knowledge about this. And even white-hat hackers in Sri Lanka are helping with this.
